The Total Solution network is comprised of the following components:

IP-RAN AW-Series IP- Radio Access Network (IP-RAN) contains both BTS and BSC. This unit supports signaling, traffic, handoff, power control, and provides multiple interfaces to the core network.

MSC This unit is a legacy circuit switched MSC which functions include call processing, supplementary services, registration, authentication, and billing, interacts with other network components.

Media Gateway This unit mediates the elements between circuit switched voice networks and the IP networks, Relays Voice, fax, modem, and data traffic over the IP network.

Packet Data Serving Node This unit exchanges packets with both the mobile station over radio, and the other IP networks.
