The AirWalk PilotStation is a highly optimized, stand-alone CDMA Pilot Beacon that delivers dramatic cost-savings for operators.
Designed specifically for CDMA networks, the PilotStation transmits only the Pilot, Paging and Synch (PPS) overhead channels that are necessary for operators to retain high-revenue roaming subscribers at cell edges and borders.
By extending PPS coverage, the PilotStation also expands network coverage and performance from high-capacity, multi-carrier sites into low-capacity, multi-carrier sites. This unrivaled capability makes the PilotStation ideal for seamless wireless connectivity among macro and enterprise networks.
The PilotStation is standards -compliant and is offered in both single carrier and multi-carrier (hopping) configurations.
